PEV 1/2″ Water Pressure Equalising Valve MK3
The Pressure Equalising Valve (PEV) is designed to supply both hot and cold water at equal pressures, regardless of the differential in the incoming supply. The valve equalises the pressure by automatically adjusting the higher (hot or cold) pressure to the same level as the lower pressure, resulting in a constant temperature.
Used for a variety of applications such as rest homes, hotels, private homes and sports clubs.
For shower mixers, bath/shower mixers, single lever mixers, bidet mixers, steam showers & hydra shower installations and other processes needing constant water temperature.
The mixer must be designed to operate on equal pressure. The valve will equalize pressure on multi-point/combi or fully modulating gas boilers, gravity systems, mains pressure hot water cylinders, or any hot water system which provides constant temperature output. The water heating system must provide water at constant temperature.
